In a deeply disturbing incident, a 14-year-old schoolgirl was raped in a local park in Paisley on Monday evening between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. The Police were alerted to the incident, leading to an immediate response from Police Scotland.
The Fountain Gardens, a once tranquil location in Paisley, became a crime scene on Monday evening when Police Scotland cordoned off the area. The police presence remained on scene until Tuesday as scenes of crime officers commenced their inquiries into the serious sexual assault.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland stated, “Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.” .
