Dear Paisley Photographs Community,
I am overwhelmed with gratitude and joy as I sit down to write this message this morning, I celebrate a remarkable milestone – 36,000+ followers on the Paisley Photographs Facebook page! I cannot express how much your support means to me and to everyone who shares their incredible photography with the page.
From the very beginning, Paisley Photographs was a labor of love, a place where i could come and share the beauty of Paisley through the lens of a camera but at the same time capturing the social history of Paisley and beyond both good and bad for future generations. It has been an incredible journey so far, filled with breathtaking landscapes, heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, and artistic expressions that have left us all in awe.
I first started photographing parts of Paisley in the late 1980’s ( that’s about 35 years, the last 12+ of which has been on-line ) and my aim is still the same today as it was when I first started – to build up a collection of photographs that buddies all over the world could look back and reminisce of old times in future years, after all we all enjoy looking back on these old photos and if no one does it now then there’s no one doing this for future generations to look back upon.
Each one of you, my followers, has played an essential role in making this page what it is today. Your likes, comments, shares, private messages and e-mails have encouraged me to continue pursuing my passion and sharing my work with the world. The sense of community, encouragement, and constructive feedback that you provide is truly inspiring, thats apart from the 3,000+ thats been blocked over the years lol .
I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the people who have trusted Paisley Photographs as a platform to showcase their artistry. Your vision and creativity are what bring life to this page, and it is an honour to be able to share your work with my ever-growing community.
As i reach this impressive milestone of 36,000 followers, I want you to know that this is just the beginning. I have many more breathtaking images and unforgettable moments no doubt both happy and sad to share with you in the future. So, stay tuned as i continue to explore Renfrewshire through the eyes of my Time Machine ( thats my cameras name ) .
My advice ” always carry your camera ….. you never know what’s around the next corner ” a little thought into what you want to capture can help decide what the right choice should be. While observing your day, note times and places where images could easily be made, and move your camera into that space, ready for images when they present themselves, and if you want it shared with the followers etc on the page just let me know.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of Paisley Photographs. Your support, appreciation, and love have fuelled my growth and passion for photography. Together, we will continue to capture the beauty of Paisley & Renfrewshire, one click at a time.
With sincere gratitude,
Paisley Photographs
