A man who died after being found in Renfrew on Sunday morning has been named as Andrew Lees aged 27, known as Panda to his many friends, he was found unresponsive at around 2.30am on Sunday 5th November at Newmains road in Renfrew.
A Police Scotland said: “At about 2.30am on Sunday 5th November we were called to a report of an unresponsive man in Newmains Road in Renfrew.
Emergency services attended and the 27-year-old man was taken to hospital where he died a short time later, the death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
At present a large section road on Newmains road still remains sealed off both ways as well as the pavement area from Newmains Road to the fire station at Broadloan.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
