The quick actions of emergency services last night adverted what could have easily became a major incident in Paisley town centre.
A host of emergency services raced to the scene at St Mirren Street around 10.30pm according to early reports to reports of a roof fire to what appeared to be the rear of the roof on the corner building.
The fire has been confirmed as being out, with the road expected to re-open in the early hours of this morning.
