The fire was in a four storey building that houses the Bankhouse public house and there is flats above the property.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson stated the SFRS We were alerted at 5:42am on Monday, April 15, to reports of a building fire on Gilmour Street in Paisley.
Operations control initially mobilised four appliances including a high reach appliance, later making this two high reach appliances, to the scene where a fire was developing within the top floor and small roof section of the building.
The Bankhouse has confirmed on social media there is no damage to there premises and they hope to reopen Thursday this week.
