Police are tonight hunting the driver of a car after a hit and run incident at Kings Road at the Thorn in Johnstone.
A 81 year old pedestrian was taken under blue lights to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed ” as around 1.30pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, officers were called to Kings Road, Johnstone, following a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
“The pedestrian, an 81-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
“The driver of the car did not stop and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.”
