The B-listed building on Stevenson Street was reported being on fire at 2:36 am, prompting an immediate response from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, who have been attending fires at this building for the last 15 years.
Scottish fire and rescue quickly dispatched two fire appliances and a high appliance to the scene. Firefighters have been battling the blaze throughout the day and are still working to fully dampen the fire down this afternoon.
