Appeal for Information After Housebreakings in Paisley

Police in Paisley are appealing for information following a series of housebreakings on Stanley Drive.

Around 7am on Saturday, 31 May 2025, officers received reports of a man breaking into three separate properties in the area.

The suspect is described as around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, and was dressed in mostly black clothing. He was wearing black trainers, a black balaclava, and notably, a pink high-visibility vest.

Inspector Lorna McLaren said:
“Our enquiries are ongoing to trace this individual and we are appealing to local residents to check any available doorbell or dash-cam footage from around this time in case it captured something useful.
We also want to take this opportunity to remind people of some simple steps they can take to protect their homes. Make sure all doors and windows are locked, keep valuables out of sight, and consider installing CCTV or video doorbells. Security lighting can also be a valuable deterrent.”

If you have any information or footage that could assist the investigation, please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1205 of Saturday, 31 May 2025.
