Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Paisley that is being treated as attempted murder.
The incident occurred around 4.45pm on Thursday, 19 June, on Murray Street, near the junction with Greenhills Road.
A 36-year-old man was approached by two individuals riding electric bikes and dressed in dark clothing. The pair assaulted him before fleeing the area.
Emergency services responded quickly, and the injured man was taken to hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Detective Constable Stephen Solomon said:
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time to contact us.
We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything. In addition, there may have been passing vehicles with dash-cam footage so I would urge anyone that can assist to please come forward.”
