Renfrewshire continues to be a favourite backdrop for film and TV productions—and the past 48 hours have proven just how popular our area remains with location scouts and producers.
On Tuesday, cameras rolled at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in Paisley and a nearby church, with a full day’s filming taking place under very tight wraps. But it was Wednesday that brought a particularly exciting return: Shetland was back to Renfrewshire ( before heading to Greenock ) to capture the final scenes for its upcoming tenth series, set to air later in 2025.
