Glasgow Transforms into New York City for Latest Spider-Man Blockbuster! 🕷️🗽

Glasgow’s city centre has undergone a superhero-sized makeover as filming gets underway for the latest instalment in the Spider-Man franchise — Spider-Man: Brand New Day. 😮

Local streets have been taken over by NYPD patrol cars, iconic yellow cabs, and American-style storefronts, as the city once again doubles for New York in a major Hollywood production. Police Scotland has been swapped out for the NYPD, and eagle-eyed passers-by might even spot a few web-slinging stunt scenes unfolding among the crowds. 🎥

The film stars Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker, alongside Zendaya as MJ, and is set to swing into cinemas next summer.

This isn’t Glasgow’s first brush with superhero fame — the city has played host to productions like The Flash, Indiana Jones, and Batgirl. But there’s something especially thrilling about seeing Spidey scale Glaswegian buildings (or at least CGI versions of them!).

Keep your eyes peeled — and your camera ready. Who knows, you might just catch a glimpse of Spider-Man in action!
