A DVLA vehicle tax crackdown launched recently in Paisley is showing no signs of slowing down — and now police are stepping up their involvement.
Officers in unmarked vehicles are carrying out roadside checks across the town, targeting untaxed and uninsured drivers.
Yesterday, a Porsche was stopped by one such unmarked unit in Paisley. The DVLA says it plans to increase the number of vehicle checks across Paisley and the wider Renfrewshire area in the coming weeks.
