It was only a couple of months ago that Paisley played host to two minibuses full of location scouts, and now the cameras are ready to roll. Road closure information has just been released ahead of filming taking place in the town centre this September.
🎬 Filming Dates:
- Thursday 4th September 2025
- Friday morning, 5th September 2025
🚧 Roads Affected:
- New Street / High Street
- Church Hill
- Western end of School Wynd
These areas will be closed to traffic while the production team sets up and films scenes in the heart of the town.

Renfrewshire Council has confirmed that any permit holders affected by the closures will be able to use the top section of Hunter Street Car Park during this period.
The filming is the latest in a growing list of productions to choose Paisley as a backdrop — a boost for the town’s profile and a reminder of just how film-friendly the area is. Locals may face some short-term inconvenience, but with Hollywood-style lights hitting our streets, the buzz is sure to make up for it.
