London Road in Glasgow has been closed to traffic between Methven Street and Maukinfauld Road following a fire at a scrap yard on Wednesday evening.
The blaze was reported at around 8pm on 10 September 2025, with emergency services quickly attending the scene. Fire crews remain in the area working to bring the situation under control.
Local residents are being urged to keep their windows closed as a precaution against smoke, while motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and seek alternative routes.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have not yet released details about the cause of the fire or whether anyone has been injured.
