Police Appeal After Car Deliberately Set on Fire in Bishopton

Police are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Bishopton on Saturday, 29 November.

The incident took place around 9pm when a white BMW was discovered ablaze in a car park to the rear of a premises on Greenock Road. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly attended and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.

Detective Constable Colin Leggat said:
“The fire is being treated as wilful and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. Please also check any private CCTV or dash-cam that you have to see if anything has been captured that could help with our investigation.”
