Located at Unit 6, Phoenix Retail Park, Linwood Road, the building has spent the past few months behind hoardings while demolition contractors McWilliams carried out a full internal strip-out. Locals who have passed the site recently will have noticed the latest sign of progress: brand-new shutters installed this week, signalling the end of the clearance phase and the start of something new.
With the space now cleared down to the bones, Superdrug’s internal fit-out team is expected to begin work shortly, bringing the building back to life with modern shop fittings, bright signage, and the familiar look of the health and beauty retailer.
The arrival of Superdrug is being welcomed by residents who say the retail park has been steadily growing in recent years. The new store is expected to offer everything from cosmetics and toiletries to pharmacy services, adding more convenience for shoppers in Linwood and Paisley.
