One person was taken to hospital on Monday night after a crash on Causeyside Street. The collision happened shortly after 10.30pm when a red car collided with a white van near the busy stretch of shops.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and paramedics treated those involved before transporting one individual to hospital for further assessment. Their condition is not yet known.
Police closed part of the road while the vehicles were recovered, causing minor delays for late-night traffic. An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
