A man has been arrested and charged after police recovered an estimated £100,000 worth of cannabis during a search in Paisley.
Around 2pm on Thursday, 27 November 2025, officers executed a warrant at a property on Laighpark View. Inside, they discovered a significant quantity of cannabis, which police estimate could be worth up to £100,000.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and later charged in connection with the recovery. He appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court the following day, Friday 28 November 2025.
Sergeant Stuart Byers of the Priority Policing Team said:
“This recovery highlights our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities. Information from the public is crucial. We will continue to act on information we receive and would ask anyone with information or concerns to call us on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
Police say enquiries remain ongoing.
