Missing Johnstone Teenager Found Safe After Search Extended to Highlands

Seventeen-year-old Harry Flintoff, who had been reported missing from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, has been traced safe and well, police have confirmed.

Harry was last seen in the Johnstone area earlier this week, and concern grew after enquiries suggested he may have travelled to the Highlands. Officers issued a public appeal for information, urging anyone who had spotted him to come forward.

Following coordinated efforts across several policing divisions, Harry has now been located. Police thanked the public for their assistance and shared appeals.

A spokesperson said: “We are pleased to confirm that Harry Flintoff has been traced. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and provided information.”
