Concerns Raised Over Faulty Cash Machine at ASDA Linwood

Concerns have been raised after a faulty cash machine at ASDA Linwood appeared to take money from customers without dispensing any cash.

Paisley Photographs has been sent images showing the ATM appearing to function normally up until the point where cash should be issued. However, customers report that no money is released, despite the transaction being processed.

The machine with the fault is pictured left on the photo.

The issue is believed to have been ongoing for some time, with affected customers told they may have to wait up to 15 days to find out whether they will be refunded.

Correspondence seen by Paisley Photographs shows that engineers attended the machine on 12 December, where they identified a fault with the dispenser drawer. Despite this, customers say problems have continued.

The situation has caused frustration for shoppers, particularly at a time of year when many people rely on cash for day-to-day expenses.

ASDA has been contacted for comment but have made no comment.
