The family of James are appealing for the assistance of the public to help trace James Hume, 33, who has been reported missing from.
James, who was last seen in Perth City Centre on Friday, 19 December 2025, is described as White, 5ft7, has brown hair and blue eyes.
He has a tattoo on the back of his neck that says ‘mother’ and a Rangers FC tattoo on one of his arms. It is believed he was wearing a grey/blue fleece top, white trainers and blue jeans. Sergeant Mark Ross said: “James’ family has not been seen or heard from him since Monday, 8 December 2025, however, a friend says he saw him in Perth last Friday (19 December).
“It is possible he travelled to Glasgow City Centre, to the area known locally as the ‘Four Corners’, which is on Argyle Street/Union Street and Jamaica Street, Glasgow.
“If you have seen James, please contact police via 101 quoting incident number 3210 of Tuesday, 23 December 2025. A previous sighting of James was at Ferguslie community church on 17th December so it may be possible James has returned to Paisley.
“We’d also encourage James to contact his family or police to let everyone know he is safe.”
