Emergency gas works are under way on King Street in Ferguslie Park after engineers were called out to deal with a gas escape.
SGN gas networks have been working at the site today, with temporary traffic lights put in place to manage vehicles through the area. As a result, traffic has been reduced to one lane.
The works are expected to remain in place for up to the next 21 days, with motorists advised to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible.
SGN says the repairs are essential to ensure the safety of the local gas network and nearby properties.
