New Parking Restrictions at ASDA Paisley: What You Need to Know

Paisley supermarket set to crack down on long-stay customers and overnight parking

A Paisley supermarket is preparing to crack down on drivers who use its car park for long stays or overnight usage / parking when the store is closed.

ASDA at the Phoenix Retail Park has installed new parking enforcement cameras and is now putting up signage ahead of the system being switched on.

Once enforcement begins, a maximum stay of three hours will apply, with no return within two hours. The measures are aimed at preventing all-day parking by non-customers and the use of the car park overnight.

Customers who need to stay longer than the three-hour limit will be able to do so by contacting ASDA customer services in store and providing the correct vehicle registration details.

The new system will also enforce existing parking rules across the site. This includes parking only within marked white bays, correct use of parent and child spaces, and restrictions on stopping on yellow lines or hatched areas. Disabled parking bays will continue to be reserved strictly for Blue Badge holders.

ASDA says the changes are designed to ensure parking spaces remain available for genuine customers and to improve safety and access across the car park.
