Two men have been arrested and charged after drugs with an estimated street value of £88,000 were recovered in Paisley.
Around 2pm on Monday, 26 January, officers on patrol stopped two men in the Espedair Street area of the town.
A quantity of drugs were recovered and further enquiries led to a cannabis cultivation being found at a property in nearby Clavering Street West.
The men aged 25 and 34 are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today Tuesday, 27 January, 2026, in connection with drug offences.
Sergeant Stuart Byers said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are determined to bringing those responsible for the supply and sale of illegal substances to justice.
