On Thursday, 19th of February 2026, Paisley town centre officers on plain clothes patrol seized a quantity of illicit tobacco from a premises in Moss Street, Paisley.
Two men have been charged in connection with the sale and possession of illicit tobacco.
Illicit tobacco can contain harmful substances which pose serious health risks and helps fund serious and organised crime.
Officers will continue to work closely with our partner agencies to disrupt, detect and deter anyone involved in the illicit trade of illegal or counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco.
