A man has appeared in court charged with the rape of a teenager in Paisley town centre.
Declyn Haggerty appeared in court on Friday, 6 March 2026, where he was charged under petition in connection with the alleged attack on a young male in Paisley.
The court was told the allegation relates to an incident said to have taken place in Paisley town centre involving a teenage male.
Haggerty was remanded in custody following the appearance.
He is expected to appear again at a later date as the case continues through the courts.
