Police cordon remains in Paisley street after injured person found

Police closed off a street in the Seedhill area of Paisley after a person was found with wounds late last night.

Emergency services were called to Violet Street, where officers sealed off part of the road while they dealt with the incident.

By this morning, police had placed coverings over a section of the street outside number 4 Violet Street, marking an area of interest as enquiries continued.

A police cordon has remained in place throughout last night and today while officers carry out investigations.

It is not yet known how the person sustained their injuries, and police have not released further details about the incident.

Residents in the Seedhill area reported seeing officers at the scene overnight and throughout the morning as enquiries continued.

Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
