Around 10.20pm on Wednesday, 11 March, a 34-year-old man was attacked on Kilnside Road and had his grey Vauxhall Corsa stolen by two men. He did not require any hospital treatment.
The vehicle was found burnt-out on Fairlie Moor Road, in the Fairlie area of North Ayrshire, around 8am on Thursday, 12 March.
The first suspect is described as a white man, around 21-years-old, between 5ft 4 and 5ft 6 tall. He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, black bottoms and covered his face with a snood or scarf.
The second suspect is described as a white man, around 30-years-old, between 6ft and 6ft 2 tall. He was wearing a black jacket, black bottoms and also had his face covered.
Detective Sergeant Fraser Gunn, from Paisley CID, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has seen the vehicle in the Paisley or Fairlie areas overnight, to please come forward.
“We would also like to speak to anyone in the nearby areas with potential video doorbell or dashcam footage which may have captured the vehicle and the men responsible.
