Emergency services closed King Street in Paisley on Saturday night following a fire which sparked a major response.
Crews attended the scene late on Saturday evening, with the road remaining shut while firefighters dealt with the incident.
Officers from Police Scotland stayed at the location overnight and into Sunday as investigations began.
The force remained on the street until around midday on Sunday to protect the scene while enquiries were carried out into the cause of the fire.
The closure caused some disruption in the area while emergency services worked at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
