A red car parked on Wardrop Street in Paisley has been left damaged after what appears to have been a small fire beside the vehicle.
A bag of rubbish looks as if it’s been placed next to the car and set alight, with the flames scorching part of the vehicle. The car now sits taped off with police tape as the incident is investigated.
Passers-by noticed the burnt debris beside the vehicle and the damage caused by the fire. The red car remains at the scene with police tape wrapped around it, indicating the area is being treated as part of an ongoing investigation.
It is not yet clear when the fire started or who may have been responsible. Authorities are expected to examine the scene and nearby CCTV as they work to establish exactly what happened.
