Detectives are appealing for information after a wilful vehicle fire in Paisley.
Around 5am on Sunday, 15 March, 2026, a red Citroen C1 was set on fire on Wardrop Street.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and no injuries were reported.
Detective Constable Jack McElwee said: “Thankfully no one was hurt during this incident however, it could’ve ended much worse if the fire had spread to vehicles parked nearby.
“I am appealing to anyone in the area who has private CCTV of dash-came footage to please review this to see if it has captured anything of significance that would assist with our investigation.”
