Officers have arrested and charged a woman in connection with the death of a 38-year-old woman who died following a house fire in Paisley.
The fire happened at a property in Barterholm Road, on Sunday, 6 April, 2025.
Emergency services attended the incident and seven people were taken to hospital. The 38-year-old woman died in hospital on Wednesday, 9 April, 2025.
On Friday, 3 April, 2026, a 50-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the death. She is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Saturday, 4 April 2026.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
