Two men have been arrested following an alleged disturbance in Paisley during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident happened in the County Square area of the town at around 1.40am on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance near the taxi rank, with emergency services attending the scene shortly afterwards.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital for treatment. Both were later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40am on Saturday, April 4, 2026, we received a report of a disturbance in the County Square area of Paisley.

“Emergency services attended, and two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken to hospital for treatment.
“Both men were subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
