An overnight fire has resulted in the closure of the Linwood recycling centre and the Viridor Limited TS plant located on Middleton Road in Linwood.
The Whole Family Wellbeing Fund, totalling £0.98 million, is now accepting applications from third sector organisations to support families and children in need. With a maximum bid of £50,000, the fund aims to foster community support and resources before crises arise. Applications close on 31 January 2026.
