Bonmarche in the Piazza in Paisley will close today Friday 7th April, there will be no job losses as staff will be diverted to other stores.
Posters in the front windows states “this isn’t goodbye” and stating the nearest stores are at Clydebank and Parkhead.
Its Understood JD Sports will take the unit on after its re-fit as they move out of the Paisley Centre.
A spokesperson for Bonmarche said we are actively looking for another suitable location in Paisley and hope to be in a position to announce this in the near future, its understood the former Post Office and M&Co buildings in the Piazza are a strong possibility and under consideration.

Too many shops closing

I’m sorry about the shops closing down but I’m glad they don’t lay empty to long moving M&S to Renfrew road was a mistake people I have spoke to said it was always busy and they loved the return and discounted clothes department come back to the town centre even to a smaller shop but as before food & clothes and I’m sure profits will come up soon.
