Scottish Fire and Rescue are currently responding to a wildfire at Campsie Fells, near Fintry.
Due to water bombing by helicopter, they are advising local residents to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed.
Some could be seen billowing over the Renfrewshire skyline last night as shown pictured.
Crews will remain in attendance until the area is made safe.
