A major operation was launched late this afternoon after a Police officer was injured at the junction of Well Street and Gallowgreen Road.
Officers were seen retreving evidence and placing it into brown bags earlier.
Police still have one side of the road closed from Well Street to Broomlands and there its no right turn from Underwood Road at the roundabout to Well Street.
Police have confirmed one person hs been arrested.
