£800,000 Drugs Haul Found In Albion Street Paisley Raid.
Man arrested following drugs seizure, Albion Street, Paisley.
Drugs with an estimated street value of £800,000 have been seized by officers in Paisley on Wednesday, 6 July, 2022.
Around 09.10am, officers from K Division’s Serious and Organised Crime Team, acting under warrant, searched a flat on Albion Street, Paisley and recovered the controlled drugs believed to be cocaine and cannabis.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the find and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday, 7 July, 2022. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Chief Inspector Douglas Falconer said: “We will continue to disrupt drug supply in our communities wherever we find it. Tackling illegal drugs and removing them from our communities continues to be a priority for us.
