Emergency services were alerted to the blaze shortly before 1am and sent four engines to the blaze, two people were been passed to the care of Scottish Ambulance Service for treatment of smoke inhalation
The road is closed at Main Road, Ferguslie to Thomas Street.
The following diversion is in place from Paisley towards Johnstone – Canal Street, Maxwellton Street, Maxwellton Road and to Thomas Street.
No diversion for Johnstone towards Paisley.
