Police Launch Appeal After Two Vehicles Set On Fire In Paisley

Police Scotland is appealing for information after two cars were set on fire in Paisley.

On Monday, 23 January, around 10.05pm, a Ford Transit van was on fire in Foxbar Road and around 10.40pm, a VW Golf was on fire in Talisman Road.

Detective Constable Rebecca Daily of CID in Paisley said : “Our enquiries so far have revealed that a man was seen to act suspiciously near to several cars in Talisman Road.

“We are keen to speak to a dog walker who was in Foxbar Road just prior to the incident and was speaking with two males. We would like this person to get in touch.

Anyone with Dash-cam or private CCTV is asked to check there footage, this also includes doorbell CCTV such as Ring devices within the area.

“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything to come forward and contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3898 of 23 January, 2023.”
