Specialist Police search teams have now joined the search for Evan Reid searching more remote and inaccessible areas to the general public. Evan Reid, 31 from Irvine who was last seen in the Inchinnan Road area of Paisley at approximately 10.06pm on Saturday, March, 25.
A large police presence was seen on Inchinnan Road last night just before 7pm and police have remained in the area overnight at the area of the old Filshill sweet making works and Former Slumberland Bed factory whilst searches continue.
Police said “Our enquiries to trace Evan are ongoing and we are appealing for the help of members of the public. I am appealing to anyone who has seen Evan or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.
“I would also appeal to any drivers who were in the area of Inchinnan Road on Saturday night and who may have dashcam footage which could assist to get in touch. No amount of information is too small.”
Police search teams resumed searches early this morning.
Evan is described as being around 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. When last seen, he was wearing a khaki green jumper, a black body warmer, dark blue jeans and grey trainers.
