Paisley Housing Association Issue Statement On Grass Cutting Service

Paisley Housing Association has this morning issued a statement on social media after residents appealed in looking for sheep to cut there grass.

The statement reads “We are sorry that our grass cutting hasn’t started yet this year.

Unfortunately our contractor was unable to carry out work from April due to a shortage of staff.

We have now had to bring our contract to an end and are now looking to procure a new company to take over the service.

We are pleased to advise that in the interim we have a company LDA Contracts who will be undertaking our garden maintenance service on a temporary basis. They will be starting work on our stock on 10th May and all properties on our service will receive a first cut over the next few weeks.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, unfortunately it was outwith our control but we are working to try to minimise further disruption to the service.

We will review our charges at the end of the cutting season and will issue pro rata refunds for any visits we have not been able to carry out. “
