Police this morning closed of a large part of Houstoun Square in Johnstone after a man’s body was found just before 3am.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “At around 2.55am on Saturday, May 13, 2023, police received a report of a 58-year-old man’s body being found in Houstoun Square, Johnstone.
Houstoun Square remained closed off today whilst forensic officers helped Police with there enquiries into the unexplained death.
