A road in Renfrewshire remains closed this morning after the death of a 52 year old man.
Emergency services were called to Renfield Street in Renfrew shortly after 3am this morning Monday 30th October after receiving reports of an Injured man. Police have confirmed the incident is being treated as “suspicious”.
The area remained taped off this morning, with Police Scotland guarding the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Monday, October 30, 2023, we received a report of an injured man on Renfield Street, Renfrew.
“Emergency services attended and the 52-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances”.
