Around 6.55pm on Monday, 27 April, 2026, we received a report of a silver Vauxhall Corsa on fire in Ferguslie Park Avenue.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
The suspect is described as being a white male wearing a black gilet, a grey t-shirt and shorts. He was riding a bicycle.
Detective Constable Colin Leggat said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area or who may have dash cam or private CCTV to get in touch.”
