Buddies have been placing tributes at the scene on Johnston Street following Saturday’s tragic accident in which a six-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Floral tributes have begun to appear at the location, with members of the community stopping to pay their respects. Among the tributes left was flowers from TMG Hair, along with a bunch of pink carnations carrying the message: “We Angel You’ve got your wings now fly high x.”
The heartfelt messages reflect the deep sadness felt across the community as news of the incident spread.
It has also been confirmed that a seven-year-old child who was involved in the same incident has since been released from hospital.
The area has remained a place of quiet reflection, with residents continuing to leave flowers and pause to remember the young life lost.
