Man Charged Two Months After Pedestrians Struck by Bus in Paisley

A man has been charged after two pedestrians were allegedly struck by a bus in Paisley just under three months ago.

The incident happened on Causeyside Street on Saturday, February 21, 2026, on what was a dark and wet night in the town. The crash involved a bus and two pedestrians.

Police Scotland has now confirmed that a man has been charged with an alleged road traffic offence in connection with the incident.

He is due to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A man has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence following a crash, involving a bus and two pedestrians, on Causeyside Street in Paisley on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
