An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Linwood.
Around 3.45pm on Tuesday, 30 June, 2026, a 49-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a car on Clippens Road.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday, 2 July, 2026.
