Man Taken to Hospital Following Stabbing Outside Paisley Convenience Store

A man has been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing in Paisley on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to Brediland Road, outside the Londis convenience store, at around 10.20am on Saturday, July 11, 2026, following reports that a man had been stabbed.

A 29-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for further treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“Around 10.20am on Saturday 11 July 2026, we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted on Brediland Road, Paisley.

“A 29-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.”

Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
