Emergency services were called to Paisley town centre on Sunday evening following an alleged altercation on the High Street.
The incident happened shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday, 26th July 2026, outside Specs Appeal on Paisley High Street.
The Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene, where a man received medical attention before being taken to hospital. He was transported in handcuffs.
Police Scotland officers also attended and cordoned off a section of the High Street outside the premises while enquiries were carried out.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been confirmed, and it is not currently known whether any arrests have been made.
