Just a week after a flying dragon caught the attention of people in Glasgow, Paisley had not one, but two dragons bringing Ladyburn Street to a standstill.
The colourful lion and dragon dance attracted plenty of attention as members of the local community gathered to watch the spectacular performance celebrating the official opening of Canton Express, a new family-run Chinese takeaway on Kilnside road.
Drivers slowed down and even stopped for a second look, while nearby workmen paused what they were doing to enjoy the lively display. The traditional performance created a fantastic atmosphere and drew smiles from passers-by, making it a memorable opening for the new business.
Canton Express is a family-run takeaway serving a wide range of Chinese dishes and is now open six days a week from 4.30pm until 10.30pm, closing on Tuesdays.
